BIG LOVE Supply list

there is a printable pdf below

Please honour the process of gathering your supplies by tuning in to what you prefer…not what anyone else wants..this is about YOU!

1 larger canvas at least 20x20in or large piece of heavy duty water colour paper.( I prefer canvas but both will work). It's important to have room to let loose a bit, no small canvases please. This is BIG Love!

Acrylic paints. Choose colours you love!

My favourite colours to have on hand are

White(a must have)

Turquoise,

Neon Pink

Prussian blue,

Quinacridone Magenta,

raw umber,

burnt sienna,

yellow ochre,

orange.

Pthalo and viridian green.

I rarely use Black.

There are so many beautiful colours, and they can mix into so many other colours. Im like a kid in a candy store when it comes to paint, but you don’t have to get too many at once, and you don’t have to get expensive paint, student grade is perfect. (There are some that aren’t good at all, like the ones from Kmart in Australia, they have no pigment)

Paint Brushes

Im very hard on my brushes, so I don’t get expensive ones. I buy the ones in the bulk pack, and then a few finer ones for detail.

Get a few different sizes even a bigger brush for house painting can be fun. you don’t need that many to start.

I also use sponge brushes which you can get at craft stores.

Extras

Mark making tools, like an old credit card, screen/mesh, bottle tops, cardboard with ridges

Any stencils you might have. Paint pen if you want to add words or marks.

Rags Water container Spray bottle with water, Apron or painting clothes and a Hair dryer for drying if you need it.

Below is a video I made awhile back about the materials I use, and how I use them.
